We Don't Usually Get Excited About Skincare Claims
Most beauty supplements come with a list of promises and not much else behind them. So when a product actually points to published, peer reviewed research, it gets our attention. That's the case with CanPrev Collagen Beauty Powder, and it's worth walking through what the science actually says before you decide if it's worth trying.
What's Different About This Collagen
Most collagen powders are just hydrolyzed collagen, full stop. This one uses something called Verisol Bioactive Collagen Peptides, a specific, patented form of collagen that's been studied on its own, not just assumed to work because it's "collagen."
That distinction matters more than it sounds. A lot of collagen on the market has never actually been tested for whether it does anything once you drink it.
The Research, In Plain Language
Two separate clinical trials, both published in the journal Skin Pharmacology and Physiology, looked specifically at Verisol.
The wrinkle study. Researchers followed 114 women between 45 and 65 for 8 weeks. Half took 2.5 grams of Verisol daily, half took a placebo. By 4 weeks, the Verisol group showed a meaningful reduction in eye area wrinkle volume compared to placebo, and the effect was still measurable 4 weeks after people stopped taking it. The same study found significantly higher procollagen and elastin levels in the skin of the group taking Verisol, which is the biological reason the wrinkles improved in the first place.
The elasticity study. A second trial followed 69 women aged 35 to 55 for 8 weeks, comparing two doses of Verisol against a placebo. Skin elasticity improved significantly in the Verisol groups starting at 4 weeks, with up to a 15 percent improvement over placebo, and the effect held at 8 weeks and even persisted afterward.
Two different research teams, two different outcomes measured, same ingredient, same kind of result. That's a much stronger case than a single study or no study at all.
What's Actually In CanPrev Collagen Beauty Powder
One scoop gives you 2.5 grams of Verisol, the exact dose used in both studies above. It's Type I and III hydrolyzed collagen sourced from bovine, in a powder that's genuinely mild tasting, not something you have to choke down. It mixes into water, a smoothie, or your morning coffee without changing the flavour much at all.

The Bottom Line
It's rare for a beauty supplement to have two published clinical trials behind the exact ingredient and dose inside the bottle. CanPrev Collagen Beauty Powder does, and that's exactly why it's one we feel comfortable standing behind.
